Rationale & Learning Objectives

Ignorantia juris neminem excusat — "ignorance of law is not an excuse." Teaching law at the senior secondary level enhances understanding of public affairs, awareness of entitlements and duties as citizens, and encourages talented students to pursue careers in law. The curriculum provides a background of the Indian legal system, focusing on justice, equity, and the development of Common Law in India.
